News about May's PugFest Bi-Annual Event
Mood:  happy

Hello to all Pug owners…

I hope all our Pug fur babies did not suffer too much over a very long, snow filled winter.
Now, spring is here and it is time to start planning the PugFest!

Date:
May 25, 2008

Location:
The dog park at Landsdowne park.  If you have not been there, it is at the canal entrance to Landsdowne Park. You should also note that there is usually some kind of walk/run/bikeathon going on along the canal driveway, so you will most likely have to enter Landsdowne from Bank Street to avoid detours.

Time:
10:00am to noon

Rain Date:
June 1, 2008

If any serious threat of rain occurs (more than a 50% chance) on May 25th – then we will postponed until June 1st., the following Sunday. We have been unlucky in the past with rain on our PugFest day. So, hopefully, this year we will have better luck!

Events:
We again, have the sponsorship of Bark & Fitz – isn’t that great!

We will have a few games for our Pugs and some prizes for the winners!

We will have doggie treats and samples for our Pugs.

And, of course, lots of time to chat and share news of our fur babies.

Under My Wing Pug Rescue:

It should be noted that Genevieve placed 27 Pugs since our last Pugfest and needs some help with donations and foster care when required.
So, we encourage you to participate in the following events:
There will be a “nail cutting” booth to get your Pug’s nails clipped for only $10.00 – all proceeds will be going to Under MY Wing Pug Rescue.
There will be a draw again this year with proceeds going to Under MY Wing Pug Rescue.

A family has agreed to make some delicious baking and bring them to the PugFest to sell.......apple pies, butter tarts and muffins.

In an effort to help keep our pugs happy & healthy, we respectfully ask that anyone with a pug who might be sick to please leave them at home and that your Pug is at lease three months old to attend....

Hope to see all of you there!
Anne and Genevieve
