IT’S TIME TO GATHER THE PUGS FOR PLAY!
WHEN: Sunday May 29, 2011
TIME: 10:00AM TO NOON
WHERE: LANDSDOWNE DOG PARK (AT THE CANAL ENTRANCE TO LANDSDOWNE PARK)
Hello all who have attended the PugFest!
It’s time to gather once again for our spring rendition of the PugFest.
Our sponsor, ROYAL CANIN, plan on attending this time and are going to bring lots of surprises to give away to our Pugs!
The “tunnel” game proved to be a big hit with the Pugs, so we will see how many of our Pugs are curious enough to go through the tunnel this year. The Pug Race is still the highlight of the morning and it wouldn’t be a PugFest without it! We will also check out your Pug’s agility with the hoola hoop jumping contest.
We will have our secret judge picking out the fur baby with the cutest wrinkles.
I thought I would add a contest this time… so, bring your fur baby with its’ favourite neckerchief and try to win a prize for the best one!
The big issue, as always, is the weather. If there is more than a 50% chance of rain. The PugFest is postponed until the following Sunday. So, keep an eye on the weather forecast and hope for a cool sunny day for our furbabies to have some fun and games.
As you can tell, we try to fit in some fun and informative discussion with other Pug owners throughout the two hour play date.
So, mark your calendars and plan on attending the 12th year of the Bi-Annual Ottawa PugFest and spread the word to other Pug owners to join in the fun and games!
Just an F.Y.I…. sometimes you have to pay $5.00 to get into Landsdowne Park with your car and sometimes if you say you are only going to the dog park, they let you in for free. It all depends on the Landsdowne staff person at the gate.
This is not a fundraising event… only a fun play date for our Pug’s! It’s all about enjoying some time with our Pug’s and talking to other Pug owners… in other words… let’s have some fun with our Pug’s without it costing anything!
Bring your camera’s and see you all on May 29th from 10:00am to noon for more Pug fun! Let’s try and break our record of 162 Pugs in attendance… until then, I hope all your furbabies stay healthy and safe.
Regards,
Anne, Cora and Clancy.
